This is a 7-day full-pack immersion through the ancient raw and rugged spectacle of the Murchison Gorge in the Kalbarri National Park in WA’s mid-west.
This experience has been designed for women who love hiking, hike regularly and are moderately fit; women who want to experience more.
It’s for women who’ve been yearning to feel the unparalleled thrill of a multi-day wilderness walking adventure; who are up for the growth that comes from pushing their physical, mental, and emotional boundaries; who are ready to be moved and empowered by the beauty and challenge of walking through untamed landscapes where not many people have walked.
The passionate and experienced Edgewalkers team invite women hikers to join them on this unique & transformative WA wilderness experience.
This is an invitation to step into deep into Nanda Yamatji Country; to meander along the ledges and edges of an ancient riverine gorge carved over millions of years by the lower reaches of the Murchison River; to walk amongst colourful wildflowers, step over fossilised insects and organisms, wade across the flowing waters of the river and set up camp along its edges; to wake up to the sound of swans, egrets, pelicans and other waterbirds; to feel the peace, deep solitude and healing that untouched nature can offer.
The team is fully committed to encouraging, reassuring and providing personalised attention, while prioritising safety.
The 7-day package includes four nights of tented wild camping with an additional two nights in a nearby Kalbarri resort. The first night to prepare, bond and set the tone over dinner and at the end of the trek to celebrate the achievement and rejoice in the transformation it has engendered.
Commencing in Perth and led by expert guides, the package includes road transport to and from the Murchison Gorge, all meals, snacks, accommodation, and high end, light weight hiking and camping equipment and 3 guides.
